Our programs

Research shows that Positive Youth Development (PYD) frameworks, which focus on building skills, fostering relationships, and providing meaningful opportunities, are particularly effective in rural settings. Youth involved in these programs tend to demonstrate higher rates of academic achievement, career readiness, and civic engagement.

DREAM CHASERS

Dream Chasers is Be Propelled Foundation’s core mentoring program and a gateway to our youth development initiatives. Through meaningful mentorship, goal-setting, and life skills development, Dream Chasers helps young people discover their potential, build confidence, and develop the resilience needed to pursue their goals.

Participants are supported by caring mentors in a positive, encouraging environment where they gain direction, accountability, and practical tools for life. More than a program, Dream Chasers empowers youth to believe in themselves and take intentional steps toward a stronger future.

Engage Academy expands access to high-quality S.T.E.M. education for rural youth through hands-on, engaging learning experiences. Designed to spark curiosity and strengthen problem-solving skills, the program exposes students to real-world applications and future career pathways in high-demand fields. Program participants build confidence through experiential learning while developing critical thinking, teamwork, and technical skills. Mentors and instructors provide guidance that connects classroom concepts to real-life challenges. Engage Academy empowers rural youth with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in an increasingly technology-driven world.

helping hands

Helping Hands is a service-based program that empowers rural youth to give back while growing as leaders. Through hands-on community projects, participants develop confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills while discovering the impact they can make when they serve others.

The program encourages responsibility, empathy, and a strong sense of community pride. Helping Hands also provides real-world experiences that help youth build character, strengthen relationships, and see themselves as positive contributors and future leaders in their communities.

The Lab is a summer enrichment program designed to help rural youth unlock new opportunities while building lifelong skills. Through a dynamic blend of tutoring, reading camps, recreational activities, and sports skill development, participants learn, grow, and thrive in a fun, supportive, and engaging environment.

More than a summer program, The Lab creates meaningful experiences that strengthen confidence, teamwork, and a love for learning—while creating memories that last long after summer ends.
